National Public Information Management Coordination Group

The National Public Information Management Coordination Group (NPIMCG) is an all-of-government forum that supports coordinated Public Information Management (PIM) before, during and after an emergency.

NPIMCG helps coordinate messaging in response at the national level. It supports the National Emergency Management Agency and emergency strategic communications across government.

It:

  • leads coordinated PIM arrangements in readiness, response and recovery;
  • shares what PIM arrangements exist across government; and
  • supports coordinated information between government agencies.

NPIMCG is also a place to share knowledge and experience. This supports PIM capacity and capability.
