Knowledge of CIMS (general)
The Knowledge of CIMS course is aimed at the national level for all agencies. It is the start of the journey towards confidently and competently working in an emergency response in a National Coordination Centre.
It introduces the CIMS framework, terminology and processes and concepts that provide a sound foundation and operational understanding of working in a coordination centre.
It is a blended course made up of online modules and a face-to-face course or virtual workshops.
Function specific courses
The Knowledge of CIMS function courses provide training for the separate CIMS functions.
The majority of these are online packages that anyone can access with necessary pre-requisites.
