National Lifelines Forum 2009
The 2009 National Lifelines Forum was held in Christchurch on October 7-8 at the Holiday Inn on Avon, with site visits to Orion’s offices and operational facilities, the Canterbury CDEM Group Emergency Coordination Centre and University of Canterbury’s High Voltage Lab. The forum was attended by more people than ever before with a 20% increase in registrants from 2008 and with representatives from Lifeline Utilities, Lifeline Groups, NELC member agencies, Central Government, Emergency Services and research institutes.
