The key here for the Bay of Plenty CDEM Group to exercise lifeline utility business continuity plans etc.

It was tabled and agreed at the 2008 meeting of the NEP Governance Group that an Exercise Shakeout style exercise (as held in California in 2008) be conducted in New Zealand in 2012 (and will most likely link in with Disaster Awareness Week in October).
