#NelsonFlooding State of emergency declared for Nelson Tasman region - Update 1
The Nelson Tasman region has declared a state of emergency because of flooding.
The Ministry has activated its duty staff at Mode 1 and is monitoring the situation to be prepared to coordinate central / government support, should that be needed.
The National Crisis Management Centre has not been activated.
