#NelsonFlooding emergency extended - Update 9
The Declaration of Emergency has been extended and will now end at midnight between Tuesday, December 27 and Wednesday, December 28. It has been reduced in area to cover Nelson City and the Richmond and Golden Bay Wards of Tasman District.
The Government Helpline 0800 77 99 97 is open from 7.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday. It provides information relating to the services and assistance available to people affected by an emergency.
